The election results are in, and I’m terrified. North Carolina has been changing politically, and it’s a wonderful thing. But I have to voice my opinion and speak out. And I don’t care if someone calls me a bigot.
NC has re-elected a zombie to the US House of Representatives.
Howard Coble (R) has been serving the sixth district of NC since 1885. He is born and raised and educated in NC. And he is a zombie.
And I’m sorry if it shows my bigotry, because I do lampoon people who are prejudiced against the undead in my audio drama, The Takeover, but in reality, zombies are not fit to hold office. And another election cycle has passed and we again vote zombie.
I weep for the future.

I’m sure you’ll hear it from the left on this one, but I have to agree.
I, for one, am glad to have such a vigilant vanguard.
God Bless Amurica.

BIGOT!
:->
I feel your characters would deem it unethical to withhold brains from a zombie, why do you feel it’s ok to withhold the equally essential stories from you audience?
holy shit! how did I not know he was a zombie??
that recipe looks awesome!!!
Hey now,
When I was a kid and my Mom took me to visit her family in Charlotte, my late Aunt Vivian (late now… not then) made brains & eggs for breakfast.
I get such great reactions from telling that to Yankees!
As a died-in-the-wool liberal, I must salute North Carolina in its progressive attitude towards the inclusion of the vitality-challenged to political office. Alas, the voters and political bosses in my home state have largely kept the vitality-challenged out of the political process. There is, however, hope, in that we have Joe Lieberman.
The most shocking thing is the use of canned brains in a recipe. I’m sure it would be much better with fresh ones.
